King Khalid University Excels in Digital Transformation – Ranking Second in the Education and Training Sector

In a new achievement, King Khalid University took a leap by surpassing 12 ranks and ranking second among 36 entities within the education and training sector in the Digital Government Authority Indicator to measure Government Digital Transformation ninth cycle. This achievement moved KKU from the improvement stage to the integration stage, landing it among the highest government entities in the field of digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, commended the great value of this achievement, and he extended his appreciation towards the IT General Administration employees for their efforts during the process, stressing the need to keep making efforts in this direction. Furthermore, Digital Transformation is one of the important goals of Vision 2030, which clearly reflects the development and progress of work in the institution.
The General Supervisor of the IT General Administration at the university, Dr. Muhammad Al-Saqer thanked His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, the IT General Administration employees, the university entities and members for their efforts in this achievement.
He said ’’ We are proud of what we have achieved in this indicator, but digital transformation is an endless journey, and we will keep working on achieving and maintaining excellence in this field.
The Digital Transformation Unit in the IT General Administration carried out the work on this indicator in coordination with all university entities to achieve this accomplishment, which reflects the technical excellence of King Khalid University.
